The collection consists of photographs relating the history, events, people, and activities of Taylor County, Kentucky, including photographs of the first county clerk, Alfred F. Gowdy (1848); W. I. Meader, who also served as county clerk (1908-1916); County Judge William Francis (1916-1920); and other officials. Also present are scenes of Main Street in Campbellsville (1895, 1904); the Old Court House; Campbellsville College; and local homes, businesses, terrain, churches, and communities.
